The guest Qari, Sheikh Hassan El-Adawi, who teaches Qiraat (art of recitation) at Al-Azhar University, will conduct the following courses during the month of Ramadan

Quran Competition Dates and Times
The MIA Al-Fajr Quran Institute will hold its first Quran competitions on:
- Saturday 20th July for levels: 6,7,8,9
- Sunday 21st July for levels: 1,2,3,4,5
All registered students should arrive early at 10:30 AM.
Special youth night is being planned for on July 26-27. The program will begin at 7:00 PM and will continue until after fajr. Iftar and suhoor will be provided free of charge. Included in the program are:
- Lectures,
- Nightly prayers
- Reminders
- Discussions
- Recitations of Quran.
Ages: 12 and up.
Free suhoor will be provided during the last 10 night of Ramadan at both the Grand and Hazelwood Mosques. We encourage members of our community to sponsor these suhoors. The cost of one night of suhoor is $200.00. If you would like to sponsor, please contact MIA Office Manager: office@miaonline.org or call (204) 256-1347
Stay Tuned – Eid Festival 2013
Planning for this year’s Festival is underway, and promises to be bigger and better than before!
- When: Saturday August 24th, 2013 (3pm – dusk)
- Where: Winnipeg Grand Mosque.
