This Friday will be Ramadan 26 and the night of the 27th, which could be the Night of Power, Laylat ul Qadr.

We will have Khatm of the Qur’an in the Grand Mosque. Khatm of the Qur’an in Victor Major School Taraweeh will be on Sunday, the 29th night of Ramadan. Community members are encouraged to bring sweets and desserts to both Khatm occasions to celebrate our love for the Qur’an.

Friday will also feature fundraising to support MIA in both the Grand Mosque and Victor Major School Taraweeh. 

We depend on your support to serve thousands of Muslim every year. With your donations, MIA:

• Maintains the houses of Allah;
• Holds educational and social programs which reach hundreds of kids;
• Offers counseling services (150 counseling sessions in the past 12 months only);
• Engages with the broader community in outreach and Da’wah;
• Supports the development of young Muslims;
• Reaches thousands of people every year with its religious, educational and social programs.
• Supports the expansion and growth of the community in small towns and in Winnipeg.
