The MIA special meeting was held today, June 06, 2010 at the Waverley mosque. A bi-election was held to elect a new full slate MIA Executive Council, following are the results:
 
Dr. Idris Elbakri, President.
Br. Aziz Sibaii, 1st Vice President
Br. Ahmed Durrani, 2nd Vice President.
Br. Salman Qureshi, Secretary
Dr. Afzal Shahin, Treasurer
Br. Saeed Dar, Member
Sr. Jannah Mustapha, Member
