The MIA Fiqh (religious understanding) committee consists of local Islamic scholars. The committee provides informed and researched positions on issues of religious law relevant to the affairs of the community. These positions are based on the committee members’ own research and consultation with a broader network of Islamic scholars inside Canada and beyond. The committee also organizes workshops and educational activities.
