Job Title: Outdoor Maintenance Worker

Location: 2445 Waverley Grand Mosque

Terms: Full Time

Requirements: Available for Day, Evening and Weekend shifts 

Daily Responsibilities

  • Fertilize and water plants, lawn, trees and shrubs
  • Cut lawn using hand, power, or riding mower and trim and edge around walks, flower beds and walls
  • Preform groundskeeping and building maintenance duties
  • Clean drainage, ditches, culverts
  • Remove garbage and debris from outdoor areas
  • Sweep walkway of debris
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in groundskeeping
  • Grass cutting, trim shrubs, pull weeds
  • Rake, mulch, and prune the grounds as needed
  • Install rock, cement, lighting if needed
  • Report breakdowns, accidents, damage, or vandalism to MIA Office Manager.

  • Proactive
  • Requires minimum supervision.
  • Must be fluent in English.
  • High attention to detail/ability to multi-task
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Physically able to complete job
  • Able to work in various weather conditions.
  • Passionate, driven to deliver the best in all tasks.
  • Experience in operating small machinery and tools
  • Eager to learn

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in outdoor maintenance
  • Groundskeeping or landscaping experience
  • Experience in handling electrical tools
