Employment Type: Part-Time (minimum 30 hours per week)

Job Description: 

We are seeking a dedicated, Islamically knowledgeable, and well-versed individual to join our educational team. This position encompasses a broader role of nurturing the spiritual and moral development of our students and the school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching the Quran to students across all classes, ensuring a deep and comprehensive understanding of the teachings.
  • Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages student participation and engagement.
  • Assessing students’ progress and providing regular feedback to students, parents, and administration.
  • Developing and monitoring the Islamic curriculum in consultation with the school curriculum and MIA Fiqh committees.
  • Developing faith-based strategies to support the school community in implementing the School Code of Conduct.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to integrate Islamic teachings across all subject areas.
  • Participating in school events, meetings, and professional development sessions.

 

Qualifications: 

  • Ijazah (certification) in the Quran or equivalent.
  • A degree in Islamic studies from a recognized institution or the equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English.
  • Strong understanding and appreciation of Islamic values and teachings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a stimulating learning environment and manage the classroom effectively.
  • Cultural sensitivity and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.
